Gitzit deadly on Smallmouth Bass
The lure is so hard to find, Gander Moutain didn’t carry it, either did Wallmart or Lake Side Fishing Shop or even Sports Authority. Dicks Sporting Goods ended up carrying a few of them, they have a very big fishing selection by the way, if you’ve never been there. My brother brought them on to me, we had an outing at Lake St. Clair a few weeks back and caught a bunch of Smallmouth bass on them. I just love the way they swim, it’s like they are perfectly balanced and swim just like a real minnow. And the tail wobbles a little bit in the back, so you get a perfect action when you jig it up and down. It would be really nice if the lure had a little scent to it. I might try dipping it into the gulp alive jar, see if that helps. You never know right…
