One of the most important things to have on a fishing trip next to having a nice fishing net is pliers. I can’t tell you how many times I had a lure get stuck all the way down a fish’s mouth and was unable to get it out with my hands. Plus, if you catch a musky or a pike, it’s not good a good idea to stick your hand down it’s mouth because of their sharp teeth. There have been a lot of people who ended up in the hospital because the teeth has dug into their tendons or veins. Be smart and buy a nice set of pliers.
